Adria is based on an original Asmara painting inspired by an 18th century Axminster carpet that depicted a rambling English garden. This fanciful design has warm red and bronze tones, complimented by fresh greens, sage and cornflower blue on a black background.
Combining ancient Savonnerie dyeing and weaving methods with a loop weave invented by Asmara, this cut and loop pile rug has subtle shade and texture variations reminiscent of the best antique rugs.
Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes.
