- Based on an original Asmara painting by Elizabeth Moisan, an admirer of the great 18th century English textile artist Ana Maria Garthwaite. The colors are inspired by early 20th century English botanical paintings. Wedgewood blue, violet, butter-yellow and garnet flowers branch out to make a trellis on a pale yellow ground.
- Combining ancient Savonnerie dyeing and weaving methods with a loop weave invented by Asmara, this cut and loop pile rug has subtle shade and texture variations reminiscent of the best antique rugs.
- Also available as an Aubusson rug and as a Needlepoint rug.
- Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
- Green manufacturing methods used.
