Chaumont is inspired by a 19th century French Aubusson rug. A rectangular pale green field with a gold leaf border is divided by gold frames into two sections that curve around a cream oval center medallion formed by an oval laurel leaf band. An ornate green, pale aqua and cream border containing multiple cartouches and elaborate corner decorations forms a dramatic frame around the rug. Flowers in rose, white, lilac and red and leaves in teal-green, brown and beige are placed across the rug.
Handmade with ancient French dyeing and weaving methods, this rug has thousands of subtle color shades which make it work with many fabrics.
Green manufacturing methods and no chemical washing make this rug safe for children and pets.
Use a non-skid rug pad to hold the rug securely in place and make a room feel warmer in winter, cooler in summer and quieter.
