Evreux is inspired by neoclassical Aubusson carpets of the French Empire and Directoire periods particularly the rugs designed for Napoleon by Percier and Fontaine. A tone on tone pale yellow-beige geometric field is centered by a round cream, gold and beige medallion nestled within a Della Robbia floral wreath in pink, blue and sage green. Vases in four corners and a cream border with straight Della Robbia floral wreaths create an elegant and stately atmosphere.
Handmade with ancient French dyeing and weaving methods, this rug has thousands of subtle color shades which make it work with many fabrics.
Green manufacturing methods and no chemical washing make this rug safe for children and pets.
