Hand spun highland sheep wool and fine Chinese silk are hand dyed by ancient French methods and hand knotted in a cut and loop weave invented by Asmara. This rug’s unique colors and subtle texture are reminiscent of fine antique rugs.
Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes.
Used with a pad this rug helps to keep rooms warm in winter, cool in summer and dampen urban noise.
