Based on an original Asmara painting, Ascot interprets how legendary American Interior Designer Billy Baldwin might design an English Stately House. An antique red is overlaid with honey and gold geometry reminiscent of marquetry.
Made with fine quality hand spun wool yarns, this highly textured hand made needlepoint rug has natural variations in colors and texture similar to antique rugs.
Also available in needlepoint, as shown at right.
Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes.
