Bayonne is inspired by 19th-century French Aubusson carpets. An inner field of pale yellow-green with a tone on tone geometric trellis is separated by a gold stepped rectangular frame from an outer field of pale yellow-green. A cream oval central medallion with a floral spray of rose, red, lilac, yellow-green and sage is nestled between a pair of cream cartouches containing gold seashells. Floral sprays are scattered throughout. A sage-green border with gold acanthus scrolls and flowers and cartouches in four corners with acanthus scrolls, flowers and gold vases complete this handsome rug.
Handmade with ancient French dyeing and weaving methods, this rug has thousands of subtle color shades which make it go with many fabrics.
Green manufacturing methods and no chemical washing make this rug safe for children and pets.
