Based on an original Asmara painting, Bergamo blends Fortuny fabric designs and the Oushak rugs depicted in Lorenzo Lotto’s paintings.
Made with fine quality hand spun wool yarns, this hand made pile rug has natural variations in colors and texture similar to antique rugs.
Also available in needlepoint, shown at right.
Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes.
