Such Elizabethan embroidery patterns, when executed by Indian artisans, metamorphosed into an exotic style and became highly fashionable in 18th and 19th century Europe.
Made with ancient French Aubusson dyeing and weaving methods, this hand woven Aubusson flat weave rug has thousands of subtle color shades, similar to antique Aubusson rugs.
Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
